Each columnar standard supporting lamp-form platform issuing three leaf cast candle arms around single central nozzle with removable flame finial, all on scroll draped animal leg supports and conforming incurved plinth.

Victorian aesthetic movement black and gilt japanned papier-mache tray of rounded rectangular form. The all-over decoration of fanciful butterflys and floral sprays within a gilded line border. The rear stencilled manufacturer's mark inscribed "Club Fine" and a diamond registration mark of March 6, 1875, probably of Henry Loveridge and Company.
