Late George II period sterling silver coffee pot, hallmarked for Alexander Johnston, London, 1759. The all-around repousee decoration of floral arabesques, with rocaille scroll shaped mahogany handle. Engraved banded cartouch to the reverse of the body, with the arms of Falconer, an old county family of Hampshire.
