George II Period Giltwood Overmantel Mirror of Large Size

 
 

A George II period giltwood overmantel mirror, in the manner of William Kent. The rectangular frame either side with reentrant corners and acorn and oak leaf trailing garlands to either side, with egg and dart and bead and reel enrichments, terminating in scrolled corners. The plate replaced.
