A pair of giltwood and gesso wall mirrors from the early George III period, in the rococo style. Each rectangular plate within a pierced cartouche shaped frame flanked by fruiting floral vines, incorporating C scrolls and surmounted by an acanthus carved pediment.
Circa 1760
A pair of Regency giltwood girandoles in a shield shape. The shaped mirrored backs surrounded by scroll fluted framing, surmounted by eagles and tassels. The sconces repeat the foliate motif.
Circa 1815
A pair of Georgian pier mirrors, to a design by Thomas Chippendale. Gilt and carved wood. The frames late 18th or early 19th century. The plate replaced in the late 19th or early 20th centuries.
