George III period figured mahogany and satinwood banded secretaire press. The upper section with scrolling pediment and urn-form finial, above a pair of oval panelled doors, opening to reveal four sliding shelves. The centre section with hinged secretaire drawer with fitted writing surface and small drawers. The bottom portion with conforming oval panelled doors, opening to reveal three long drawers, all raised on bracket feet. Please click to see detail image, or click to see with drawer closed.
