Regency period ebonized and gilt painted chairback settee, in the manner of John Gee. The finialed top rail with ribbon-tied foliate garlands, with painted bellflower decoration descending down the baluster-shaped splats. The front rail with painted foliar sprays above tapering front and rear legs on brass castors, the front legs with paterae and foliate decoration. A silk moiré cushion surmounts the caned seat.
