Regency period 'spoon back' occasional chair. The green painted decoration is high lighted by contrasting green line decoration, with the back splat decorated with stylized leaves and flowerets, all above a caned seat, and mounted on original casters. Stamped 'JAs HILL', presumably for James Hill, chairmaker recorded as working in Hull, Yorkshire, in the early 19th century

39" in height at the back x 22" in width x 21" in depth. The seat height is 16-1/2"
