Chinese painted silk screen, described as ‘100 Children’. This motif, depicting attitudes of a happy and carefree childhood is supposed to impart happiness to the viewer.

A pair of lion form candlesticks. The opposing pair of white glazed lions rampant, each holding a cylindrical holder, and all supported by a gadrooned trimmed plinth, picked out in Prussian blue.

Late Edo period lacquer box or bunko bako. The gilt foliar decoration interspersed with mon for the Shimazu family, with a closure with silken cord and tassels.

A pair of Japanese abumi, or stirrups. Of iron, with makie or inset decoration of grapes and grape leaves, in silver, brass, and copper. The interior in wood and red painted decoration.
